Jyllian McAnulty grew up with a love for the creative process. She began her unique art journey through a writing program her 2nd grade teacher placed her in. This writing program was a pathway to discovering her love for illustrating the stories she would write. From illustrating with pencils to drawing whatever captured her interest, she went on to discover paints around the age of 12 when her dad would suggest she "add some color". Ever since then, Jyllian has grown a love for the arts through the support and encouragement of her community. Art has now grown to become a deep part of who she is.
She began teaching small art classes in the summer of 2021 to combine her love for creativity with her love for teaching. Through the years, she has gone on to paint a children's mural for Generación de Fuego Church in 2022 and another at Nuevo Comienzo de Cebadilla Church in 2023, both located in Costa Rica. She has also painted live on stage at many events through her church and other local churches for events like Easter, Christmas, and evening services. Jyllian has also obtained "Business Leader's Choice" award and 2nd Place overall for her age division at the 2022 Florida Strawberry Festival Art Show, and received the "Creativity Award" from ARISE Church in 2022. Jyllian graduated from high school with her Associate in Arts with honors.
With a passion for capturing life's most beautiful colors, textures, and subjects, she brings a colorful and impressionistic touch to her paintings that are centered around one thing: expression. Art, to Jyllian, is meant to make one feel something; whether it is to reflect, laugh, cry, inspire, etc. But there are no rules when it comes to creativity, other than to be creative! Whether painting live at a wedding, teaching aspiring artists, painting murals, or creating a commissioned painting, each tells a deeply personal story, delivered from the artist to the viewer. The goal of each one of Jyllian's services is to take your vision and communicate your story in a unique and timeless way. Let's create together!
Beyond the Paintbrush
Jyllian has an incredibly smart, handsome, and kind husband whom she met in middle school. Together, they have a cat named Pickles.
Jyllian grew up often times being outside. She did a lot of camping with her family or going on hikes. She'll never turn down the opportunity to be outside. Jyllian also loves to strength train, cook, and get to know people and their unique story. She appreciates a good coffee and a deep conversation on a rainy day. Most would describe her as an old soul.
At her core, Jyllian is someone who deeply loves God, has experienced the freedom that He brings, and tries her very best to follow Him each day wherever He may lead. She hopes to love people, including you, through her gifts and passions so they too will know the freedom that she does through Jesus Christ. He is the reason for everything she does.
